At the end of the LES Italia seminar entitled “International filing strategy of IP rights” which took place today in the Sala Napoleonica<\/em> at the Milan University, prof. Sena attended as guest of Honour at the 2019 IP Day Reception during which prof. Sena made some criticial notations about the innovations introduced by the Trademark Directive and its implementation in the Italian law with an intervention entitled “Notes on the novel EU Trademark Directive and its implementation in Italy: novel instruments for a more effective protection of distinctive signs and of the investments made by the companies?”.<\/p>\n

Prof. Sena also announced that shortly Giuffr\u00e8 Francis Lefebvre will be publishing a Brief Commentary on the Amendment of the Italian IP Code,<\/em> edited by himself and Prof. Silvia Giudici and which contains the rules in force an well as the previous rules.<\/p>\n

Coming out soon, again by publisher Giuffr\u00e8 Francis Lefebvre is also the novel Code on Industrial and Intellectual Property Law updated with the conversion into law of the “Growth Decree”.<\/p>\n

During the celebration of the IP Day a copy of the updated Industrial Property Code translated into the English language and published by LES Italia also with contribution from Studio Legale Sena e Tarchini, was distributed to the participants.<\/p>\n
