{"id":2652,"date":"2021-02-16T10:23:42","date_gmt":"2021-02-16T10:23:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/senaiplaw.com\/?p=2652"},"modified":"2021-02-17T13:22:59","modified_gmt":"2021-02-17T13:22:59","slug":"the-chinese-year-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/senaiplaw.com\/en\/2021\/02\/16\/the-chinese-year-2\/","title":{"rendered":"The Chinese Year"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As we open this Chinese New Year, we are pleased to inform you that in 2020, our firm assisted several clients in protecting their intellectual property rights in China.<\/p>\n<p>More specifically, we have been involved in protecting the form of the product in China through its registration as a copyrighted work.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, thanks to the collaboration of an excellent network of local correspondents, we have also proposed several oppositions against registrations in China of Italian well-known trademarks by unauthorized parties, on the basis of the rules on bad faith registrations that came into force on November 1, 2019. Very often, in fact, Chinese companies register the trademark not with the intention of using it, but to resell it to the foreign company at a high price.<\/p>\n<p>Particularly interesting was, then, a case in which to protect the font of a trademark we acted through the rules of copyright law.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As we open this Chinese New Year, we are pleased to inform you that in 2020, our firm assisted several clients in protecting their intellectual property rights in China.
