From a substantive point of view, there are three topics of particular interest:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The rule on the relationship between geographical indications and designations of origin and trademark registrations.<\/li>\n<li>The recognition of the independence of the Italian patent from the unitary patent and the European patent valid in Italy with which the former possibly coexists.<\/li>\n<li>The abolition of the Professor&#8217;s privilege in the case of an invention achieved by the researcher employed in the field of public research.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>After all, the revision affects several rules of the formal procedures for obtaining and maintaining intellectual property rights.
