The Artificial Intelligence Observatory’s data of the Politecnico di Milano presented today are very interesting. It was reported by the Nova insert of Il Sole 24 Ore with an article by Alessandro Longo. More than 6 out of 10 large companies (61%) have launched at least one AI project, while the SMEs – still late (15%) – are growing at a rate of 9.9%, with one out of 3 planning projects in the next 24 months. The big ones are pushed by in-house factors (staff with skills, specific business needs) while the small ones are pushed instead by customer demands. This is an important path to be intelligently supported and carefully accompanied also under the legal, IP and copyright profiles, with particular regard to the attribution of any exclusive rights and liability for infringement of third parties’ rights.
